The Campus online is the Web version of The Campus, Oklahoma City University’s weekly student newspaper.

The site was developed in the print media course sequence.

The Electronic News Gathering and Reporting class designed and launched the site in Fall 2004 as a semester project.

Kelly Burk, Sherri Greenwood, Saima Manzoor, and Diana Tejada, mass communications students, designed and built the news Web site.

Under the guidance of Kenna Griffin, visiting professor of mass communications and student publications director, the students performed tasks including designing templates, writing copy, choosing fonts, and setting color schemes.

Members of The Campus staff wrote copy for the Web site as it was being designed.

The Web site was launched officially Dec. 8 as one of the university’s centennial projects.
